Designed by Velichko Velikov for Lago and showcased during the Salone Del Mobile 2011 in Milan, Lastika armchair is a simple yet ingenious idea that combines minimalist modern aesthetics with whimsicality and playfulness of familiar materials like elastic bands.  Lastika resembles a flower with the help of its unusual structure made using forty elastic belts in fun colors.  The belts by nature create a bouncy sensation while the chair’s tubular metal frame counters it with sturdiness making the overall experience a fun-filled, intriguing adventure.
