This year at the International Milan Furniture Fair, Casamania, a renowned Italian furniture design company that is already distinguished by its striking and innovative product portfolio, added another head-turning, jaw-dropping, dramatic manifestation of ingenuity and talent. This time, it arrived in the form of the Loop chaise lounge, meticulously crafted by the Dutch designer, Sophie de Vocht.
Nemo indoor/outdoor armchair by Fabio Novembre for Driade was first unveiled at the 2010 furniture fair in Milan and immediately became the talk of the show and one of the most memorable as well as easily identifiable pieces presented among hundreds of thousands of new products. This year, following its mountainous success, Driade in collaboration with Fabio Novembre released a new, 2011 version of this “icon-in-the-making” armchair with a few twisty surprises.
Salone Internazionale del Mobile, also known as the Milan furniture fair was full of sensory surprises, delicately arranged to trigger every feeling and to leave an unforgettable impression especially the coveted Hall 16 where we visited the stands of Moroso, Horm, Driade as well as Sicis.
