Soothing colors scheme
Color is known to affect the mood, and has powerful spiritual, psychological and physiological capacities. Select colors that are neutral like rich chocolates, elegant creams and warm copper to generate a calming atmosphere. Proper bedroom layout
The bed should be as far away from the door as possible, usually at the opposite end of the room. Do not position the bed directly under a ceiling fan or heavy beam and try to avoid putting the headboard directly under the window. Footboard is not desired either as it hinders on positive energy. Most importantly, make sure that your feet are not facing the door (that is the death position in Asian cultures) and leave enough room around the bed for energy to flow freely, and for convenience. The tatami style of beds originated in 16th century Japan and served as the foundation to the design and utility of today’s modern platform bed. While the platform bed has evolved into a wide-spread phenomenon with oodles of options, the tatami bed design remained fairly true its original. Tatami style is primarily recognized for its simplicity, linearity and lack of over fussed details.
