A pure and utilitarian product, Byblos Italian Leather Sofa was designed with a very specific mission – to offer comfort, elegance and quality while exhibiting stylistic stamina and functional savoir faire. Manufactured in Italy by Gamma Arredamenti International, Byblos Contemporary Leather Sofa starkly amalgamates the expectations of a cozy living space with modern integrity.
With two sizes (2.5 or 3 seater) to choose from, Byblos Leather Sofa also offers an optional loveseat, armchair and ottoman for a complete and gracious seating arrangement. Byblos Sofa and all optional seating elements offer tufted seats, chrome armrest details and wooden legs. Byblos Sofa can be upholstered in a wide selection of top grain genuine Italian leathers which includes 17 category C (Club Collection) colors and 29 Category E (Pampas and Piuma Collections) colors (see leather descriptions below).
Byblos Italian Contemporary Leather Sofa features a solid wood frame known for not bending, breaking or squeaking with a 10 year guarantee. Byblos’ seat suspension is reinforced with crossed Pirelli webbing and both back and seat cushions are lined with Dacron wadding. Club Leather: 1.4 - 1.6 mm. thick top grain leather, embossed, natural with grain. Semi-aniline finish retains natural characteristics and features of leather while protecting it against household stains. Soft to the touch, Club leathers have a semi glossy look.
Pampas Leather: 1.8 – 2.0 mm. thick top grain leather, embossed, pigmented and protected. The enhanced grain and greater texture highlight the stitching work. A semi-aniline finish gives outstanding softness. Very good protection against household stains.
Piuma Leather: 1.4 – 1.6 mm. thick full top grain leather. Slightly pigmented and not protected, this premium leather is aniline dyed-through and drummed in order to obtain an outstanding natural look and very soft and smooth hand. Moderate to low protection against household stains.
