Ess Designer Sofa features a linear shape offset by curvilinear armrest slightly resembling half a flute. Ess Sofa is available in 3 sizes which include 2.5, 3 and 3.5 seater with an optional Ess Loveseat and Ess Armchair. All Ess seating elements can have optional sound box system, sound box system with subwoofer or sound box system with subwoofer and an iPod docking station.
Ess Modern Leather Sofa is made using a solid beech frame that is known for not bending, breaking or squeaking with a 10 year guarantee. Ess Sofa has polyurethane foam and piumaroll filled seats, goose feather filled back cushions and coil seat suspension. With chrome plated iron legs, Ess Sofa can be upholstered in a wide selection of top grain genuine Italian leathers which includes 17 category C (Club Collection) colors and 29 Category E (Pampas and Piuma Collections) colors (see leather descriptions below). Club Leather: 1.4 - 1.6 mm. thick top grain leather, embossed, natural with grain. Semi-aniline finish retains natural characteristics and features of leather while protecting it against household stains. Soft to the touch, Club leathers have a semi glossy look.
Pampas Leather: 1.8 – 2.0 mm. thick top grain leather, embossed, pigmented and protected. The enhanced grain and greater texture highlight the stitching work. A semi-aniline finish gives outstanding softness. Very good protection against household stains.
Piuma Leather: 1.4 – 1.6 mm. thick full top grain leather. Slightly pigmented and not protected, this premium leather is aniline dyed-through and drummed in order to obtain an outstanding natural look and very soft and smooth hand. Moderate to low protection against household stains.
