Globus Modern Work Station was designed by Michiel van der Kley for Artifort with intentions to achieve unprecedented compactness as well as reach new aesthetic heights in furniture design. The Globus has a cast aluminum base on wheels supporting a white lacquered baydour shell with two sections. Half of Globus incorporates a comfortable swivel seat that makes getting in and out of the station hassle-free, while the other half includes a height adjustable table top which can be used for a laptop or any other use. With hidden wheels to make Globus mobile, this workstation is easily transported from room to room, or stands sturdy and stationary when opened as the wheels are locked. The swivel seat is available in 24 Atlantic fabric choices, 60 Tonus fabric choices, 57 Divina fabric choices, 29 Bergamo fabric choices and 60 Ohmann 1012 collection leather colors.
Atlantic is an elastic fabric in 100% polyester fabric that is soft and elegant with wide color range and a sporty expression. Tonus is a Kvadrat fabric made up of 90% wool and 10% Helanca offering great durability and stretchability. Divina is another Kvadrat fabric in 100% wool with a non-directional woven design. Divina provides excellent seating comfort and superb appearance retention. Bergamo is a De Ploeg fabric made up of 66% wool, 27% Cotton and 7% Trevira cs, very pleasant to the touch with a textured 3-dimensional effect. Ohmann leather collection 1012 is a top quality natural grain pure semi-aniline with 1.2 mm thickness; eminently suitable for modern furniture and superbly made from large hides.
