Designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso and manufactured in Italy, the modern Springfield Sofa offers geometrically shaped profile comprised of seats, backs and armrests combined by metallic buckles that in turn help maintain visual distances while offering luxurious comfort. Reminiscent of natural landscape, the Springfield Sofa emerges as close, but yet separate, seating element that could be absorbed into any seating environment or stand alone. The entire Springfield Collection, encompassing a Loveseat, Armchair and various Sectional configurations was designed with the notion that the stripped down shapes will best feature their fundamental elements in a surprising manner, allowing the environment to showcase their brilliant aptitudes and functional intents.
Characterized by a unique constructive method and by the high quality materials utilized, the Springfield Sofa has completely removable covers (leather version is fix) for easy maintenance. Springfield Sofa has a wooden frame covered with stress-resistant polyurethane foam at varied densities and polyester fiber, seat cushions are in goose down with polyurethane foam core at varied densities combined with polyester fiber, back cushion are in goose down only. The Springfield Sofa is available in 54 wool fabric upholsteries and 57 to-grain, genuine Italian leather options.
