Yet, what makes Tokyo 801 Designer Platform Bedroom Set stand out from others is the exclusive headboard design of the Tokyo 801 Modern Platform Bed, design that entails headboard movement through which two distinct designs are possible. One side of the headboard features a horizontal glass shelf with light, while the other offers two illuminated glass shelves. The result brings forth one headboard design devised to use the two shelves for displaying, whereas the second headboard design is devised to use the two shelves for concealing purposes. Tokyo 801 Designer Platform Bed is available in Queen, King or California King sizes with an optional under-the-bed storage. The set also offers 3 different dressers and a wall mirror. The 3 dresser types include: side-panel-single dresser that features 4 drawers and a vertical compartment with three shelves; top-panel-double dresser that features 8 drawers with accent finish incorporated into the top two drawers; side-panel-double dresser which includes 8 drawers with the accent finish applied to the base and the vertical panel. Other optional items include a floor mirror and two different chests: one that incorporates the accent finish in to the top drawer; second version incorporates accent finish in to the base and the vertical panel. All dressers, chests and nightstands come equiped with self-closing drawer mechanisms that prevent the drawers from slamming into the furniture.
