Founded in the 1970s, the Italian modern furniture company Young Designers Factory, also known as YDF, is a mature company that retains a youthful approach to interior design. Young Designers Factory is known for combining innovative technologies and new materials with sleek, European style. The room service 360° exclusive collection of YDF furnishings includes home furnishings for the dining room and living room. Each is available in a variety of colors and sizes.
YDF excels at fashioning contemporary furniture from aluminum, stainless steel, brass and copper using their innovative “folding” technique. Conventional metal furniture is typically assembled in pieces, and then joined with pins, screws or welding that mark the overall design. Young Designers Factory uses a proprietary process to “fold” the metal, resulting in a sleek silhouette that is unique to the company’s collection.
YDF ensures that their styles are as innovative as their technology. The company not only employs designers such as Alberto Basaglia, Natalia Rota Nodari, Andrea Marani, Guiseppe Vigano and Mauro Frigerio, but also fosters new talent as well through collaboration with the industrial design school Politecnico di Milano. |
